At Cliffe Veterinary Group, we have our own Laboratory at the practice, which allows us to provide an efficient and reliable service provided by our full-time Veterinary Laboratory Technician.

We can test for an extensive range of services including haematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, cytology, urine analysis, faecal analysis, and parasitology, which is valuable for all small animals, farm animals and horses.

We have a high-quality Synermed Biochemistry system, which provides accurate results for a wide range of Biochemistry tests including Total T4 and Serum Amyloid A, as well as other numerous tests to monitor organ function and any disease developments.

Our Haematology system allows us to detect blood disorders and infection processes that may be occurring. The biochemistry and haematology facilities are particularly valuable for providing pre-anaesthetic and emergency results.
