Equine Cushing's Disease

This event is open to those who have PPID cases and are treating already with Prascend.  Come along and find out more about how to make the most out of both Prascend and caring for the PPID patient. Sponsored by Boerhinger Ingelheim.

 Gastroscopy Clinic

Back by popular demand this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome in a relaxed and practical, small group setting. We have availability for 12 horses to be gastroscoped, so if you are worried whether your horse has ulcers or not, now is a great time to find out!  Coupled with short, talks and lots of discussion time, as well as lunch, we invite you to come along.

There will be two sessions: a morning session from 9-2pm; and an afternoon session 1-5pm.  Lunch will be from 1-2pm and involves both groups.  Six horses will the gastroscoped during each session and participants in each session will be invited to observe each case, so you can get experience of a wide variety of problems.  Sponsored by Norbrook.

Interested in learning more about the horse's mouth and how problems with teeth affect your horse's performance?  This is event is for you.  Our two equine dental technicians divulge the mysteries of the oral cavity and all it contains!

 Back in Action: Back problems and beyond

The back is an incredibly complex structure, constantly moving and supporting the horse and us!  Discover more about this fascinating structure, the problems that can affect it, how we diagnose these; and possibly most importantly, what it means to the horse and what we can do about it.
