Georgia graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, before going on to complete a further five years of study and qualifying with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
After graduating, Georgia completed an 18-month ambulatory internship on the Isle of Wight, where she gained invaluable experience working with a varied equine caseload and developed her skills across all areas of equine practice. She has since continued her veterinary career in Kent before joining the team at Cliffe Equine.
Georgia has a particular passion for equine lameness and diagnostic imaging and is currently undertaking an advanced postgraduate Certificate in Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics to further develop her knowledge and expertise in these areas. She is also an FEI Level 1 Official Veterinarian (OV), giving her the opportunity to combine her veterinary work with attending equestrian events across the country.
Away from work, Georgia is a trustee of a children’s charity, a role she finds incredibly rewarding. When she gets some well-earned time off, she loves heading home to Surrey to spend time with her family, taking her dog Vinnie for walks, and travelling whenever she gets the chance – usually in pursuit of sunshine and warmer weather!
