Sophie Llewellyn

Sophie graduated from Bristol University in 2017 where she gained her BVSc MRCVS (Batcherlor of Veterinary Sciences, then Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). She is also currently undertaking a Certificate in Internal Medicine. Sophie is an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian which has enabled her to work at exciting events such as Burghley Horse Trials.

Having joined us in 2021, Sophie has developed a particular interest in ophthalmology, colic workups, managing laminitis cases and investigating metabolic disease.

Outside of work, Sophie has a beautiful working cocker spaniel called Sybil that she enjoys training most days and competing in Working Gundog tests. They both love long walks exploring the Sussex countryside with a stop off at the pub for a pint of Harveys. Sophie loves to go swimming to try and keep fit and offset all the comfort food she likes to cook. In her spare time she plays the flute and has achieved Grade 8 and is currently learning how to play the guitar.
